Iran is reportedly planning to acquire Su-35 Flanker-E fighter jets from Russia, according to US officials. The US claims Russia will deliver the jets as part of a “full-scale defense partnership” between Moscow & Tehran. The alleged Su-35 deal comes after Iran reportedly supplied Russia with hundreds of drones for use in Ukraine. The US alleged that Iranian pilots are receiving training on the Su-35 and could begin receiving the jets next year.
