Ukraine says Russian forces shelled Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, overnight using heavy artillery. Nearly 10 high-rises and private residences, farm buildings and a gas pipeline were damaged as a result of the attacks. Kyiv also alleged that Russia’s attacks killed 5 civilians in Donetsk Oblast on Oct. 29. Russia reportedly detonated the Krasna Bridge in Luhansk to thwart a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
