North Korea Fumes As US, South Korea Launch Biggest Military Drill In Years

South Korea and the United States began their largest joint military drills on August 22 in Indo-Pacific region. The joint military exercises called the ‘Ulchi Freedom Shield’ are scheduled to run till September 1. The ‘Ulchi Freedom Shield’ are tri-service drills involving thousands of troops as well as live-fire exercises. The largest joint military drills since 2017 are designed to test their readiness amid North Korea’s missile tests.
