A series of mysterious explosions in Mariupol prove that Ukraine has found a way to hit deep behind enemy lines. On February 22, at least 11 explosions were reported in the Kalmius district of the Russian-occupied city. The city is located far behind the last Ukrainian outpost and is also said to be out of range of Ukraine’s HIMARS & M270 MLRS. However, the strikes have raised questions about whether Kyiv is using a new type of munition provided by the US or one that is indigenously made.
