As war rages in Ukraine, UK will be sending Sky Sabre missile system and 100 personnel to Poland in a bid to protect its airspace. The medium-range missile system can hit a tennis ball-sized object travelling at the speed of sound. The Sky sabre drone is the latest in a series of defence systems the US and allies have sent to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank. Besides missile attacks close to Poland’s border, few Russian drones have been spotted hovering beyond Ukrainian territory.
