Amid Tensions With US, Xi Jinping’s China Working On ‘Invisible’ Missile Launchers For Future Combat

Top Military News

China is reportedly developing new-age missile launchers that will be “invisible” to enemy forces. The new launchers are being developed for its Dongfeng series of road-mobile missiles, as per China’s state media CCTV. The high-tech missile launchers are reportedly part of a push to develop new-generation weapons for future warfare. A PLA researcher has revealed that China is using artificial intelligence (AI) to make the launchers invisible. The DF-17 medium-range missile is believed to be the world’s first active hypersonic glide vehicle weapon. The CCTV programme included footage of camouflage launchers developed by the team for missiles including the DF-41. In the recent years, China’s ruling Chinese Communist Party have made military “modernisation” a top priority. According to reports, the PLA has integrated AI into their mechanisation procedures to develop new-age warfare systems.
