WWII Army Film – “Camouflage Set For Three Inch AA Guns” 1941 Description from the National Archives: “Army truck tows four-wheeled antiaircraft gun. Gun crew prepares gun for firing, attaches pipe supports of net to gun’s outriggers, lays out and fastens wire cable rigging to supports, unrolls and fastens main net to rigging, snaps small triangular nets in place, and tightens net assembly with chain pulls. The net’s embrasure can be quickly removed for firing the gun. Coil springs in the rigging absorb the shock when the gun is fired. Shows aerial views of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.”
