Russia has deployed troops from its Pacific island garrisons to Ukraine as it grapples with shortage of infantry. Ukrainian troops reportedly repelled an attack involving DPR separatists, Wagner mercenaries and Russian regular forces in Siversk. The unit patch recovered from several dead Russian soldiers was the emblem of the 18th Machine Gun and Artillery Division, as per reports.
