US Intelligence believes that China is looking to establish military presence in Africa. China is reportedly aiming to build a “permanent military presence” in the tiny African nation of Equatorial Guinea. The WSJ report says that a possible Chinese threat is setting off alarm bells at the White House and Pentagon. According to the report, Beijing may be eyeing the port city of Bata in Equatorial Guinea as its military base.
