Ukraine War

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed a huge crowd during a grand celebration at Moscow’s Red Square on September 30 after signing treaties to incorporate four Ukrainian regions controlled by Moscow into Russia. Putin and the Moscow-installed leaders in four regions of Ukraine put their names on treaties for them to join Russia, in a sharp escalation of the seven-month conflict. Putin welcomed the new regions saying “Russia not only opens doors of native home for our brothers and sisters, it opens its heart to them.”
