Fire Heavy Artillery

In support of the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF), Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, fire a M777 towed 155 mm Howitzer during an air assault at the 3rd Regiment, 50th Brigade, 14th Iraqi Army Division headquaters located in Punjiha, Iraq, Aug. 25, 2019.

 

The Soldiers conducted a gun raid to disrupt known enemy positions. As long as Daesh still poses a danger to the security of Iraq and northeast Syria, the Government of Iraq and ISF partners, supported by Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, will continue to strike and ensure the military defeat of Daesh (U.S. Army Reserve video by Spc.
