UKRAINIAN military shows mass destruction of the town of Hostomel, after Russian forces retreat from the area. Footage released by the Ukrainian military on April 4 shows widespread destruction in Hostomel after Russian forces retreated from the Kyiv Oblast town at the end of March.
Burnt-out military vehicles, destroyed apartment buildings, and a partially destroyed bridge can be seen in the footage. The wreck of the world’s biggest plane, the Antonov 225, can also be seen at the local airport. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian forces of torturing and executing hundreds of people in Kyiv oblast, including Hostomel, on April 3.
