Journalist Oleksandr Makhov
Two streets in Kyiv were stripped of their Russian heritage to honor journalist Oleksandr Makhov and TV presenter Pavlo Lee. They were killed while defending Ukraine. Therefore, Ukrainians decided to perpetuate their names.
