As the war in Ukraine rages on, Kyiv has now accused Vladimir Putin’s Russia of using white phosphorus bombs in Luhansk. Phosphorus bombs were reportedly favoured by Adolf Hitler during World War II and are not generally used on civilians. White phosphorus bombs were also referred to as “Willy Peter” during WWI & WWII.
