Ukraine Downs Mi-24 Helicopter, Putin’s Missiles Hit Zaporizhzhia, Kim Says No Arms Sold to Russia

Ukraine War

Anti-mobilisation protests reportedly erupted across Russia just hours after Putin ordered the country’s first military draft since WWII. Ukraine’s forces claim to have destroyed a Russian Mi-24 helicopter and two Orlan-10 drones in the Kherson region. Ukraine alleges Russia launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, causing electricity blackout in some districts. Meanwhile, Russia and Ukraine carried out a surprise prisoner swap involving nearly 300 people, the largest since the war began. North Korean state media, KCNA, reported that the country has not sent any weapons to Russia and added that it has no plans to do so.
