U.S. Marines and Philippine Marines conduct #artillery live fire as part of exercise KAMANDAG 3 at Colonel Ernesto P. Ravina Air Base, Cerab, Philippines.
KAMANDAG helps participating forces maintain a high level of readiness and enhances combined #military -to-military relations, interoperability, and multinational coordination.
The #US Marines are with Alpha Battery, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnerships between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
