U.S. Army UH-60 Blackhawks deliver Artillery Equipment and 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment Soldiers for artillery training, while members from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces 1st Airborne Brigade observed at the Yakima Training Area near Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, during RED FLAG-Alaska 19-2, June 13-14, 2019.
 
RF-A exercises provide unique opportunities to integrate various forces in a realistic threat environment and dates back to 1975, when it was held at Clark Air Base, Philippines and called Exercise COPE THUNDER.
