The Prague Uprising was a major event that occurred towards the end of World War II in the city of Prague, Czechoslovakia. Then occupied by Germany and known as the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. It was a last-ditch effort by the Czech resistance to take control of the city before the Soviet Red Army arrived and liberated it from Nazi occupation.
