Russia’s mobilised soldiers have allegedly been provided old and ‘rusty’ weapons by the Kremlin. Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to Ukraine’s internal affairs minister, posted a video showing soldiers handling firearms in rough shape. The recruits expressed dismay in a volley of swearwords after a tank crew was provided with long-discarded weapons in Primonsky. A Russian soldier was reportedly told that since they were part of a tank crew, the rusty weapons would be good enough.
