Poland will deliver an additional 60 PT-91
Twardy tanks to the Ukrainian military to help it fend off Russia’s aggression, in a move hailed on Friday by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Poland has been one of the largest contributors in Europe of military aid to Ukraine. Indeed, the Polish government has already donated to Ukraine more than 230 T-72M and T-72M1R to Ukraine as well as 14 German-made Leopard 2A4 tanks coming from its military inventory.
