Russia to Quit ISS After 2024 – Putin Holding Space Cooperation As Hostage Amid Ukraine War?

Russia has announced that it will withdraw from the International Space Station (ISS) project after 2024. The newly-appointed chief of Roscosmos Yury Borisov said Russia will focus on creating a national orbital station. Last week, Borisov, a former deputy prime minister, replaced Dmitry Rogozin as Russian space agency chief. The announcement comes amid raging tensions between the Kremlin and the West over the war in Ukraine.
