Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Kyiv aims to liberate 2000 more settlements from Russian forces. Ukraine said that Russian missiles struck a maternity ward in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing a newborn baby. Kyiv said that Russia tried to deploy a sabotage and reconnaissance group in the Kharkiv region. Ukraine’s Army said that it destroyed three Russian ammunition warehouses in the Kherson region. Kremlin-installed governor of Sevastopol claimed that a drone attack targeted the peninsula of Crimea. The incident comes weeks after Ukraine liberated Kherson and amid reports that Ukraine may launch attacks on Crimea.
