Putin’s Nuclear Train is on the Move but is It Headed to The Front Line?

Ukraine War

A Russian convoy transporting equipment for Moscow’s nuclear weapons programme was reported to be on the move on October 4. The trains were seen carrying a number of rare BPM-97 Vystrel light armoured vehicles with 30mm cannons in central Russia. The BPM-97s are associated with the Russian military’s 12th Main Directorate, which oversees the country’s nuclear arsenal. The sighting triggered speculation that the train was heading towards the front line in Ukraine.
