Ukraine’s Air Command “South” claims to have destroyed a Russian Su-25 jet and one Mi-8 helicopter on September 25. Kyiv’s air forces launched 9 strikes on the invaders, while the missile and artillery units performed 310 fire missions. A Russian military commander in Ust-Ilimsk was shot at an enlistment office on September 26. At least 100 people were detained at a protest opposing the mobilisation in the southern Russian region of Dagestan. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelensky has warned that Putin’s threats to use nuclear weapons “could be a reality”. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the Washington has a plan in place if Russia uses nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
