Modernized versions of the Soviet-era Tank

Developed in the 1950s, the T-62 succeeded the former Soviet Union’s T-54/T-55 tanks. Production of the T-62 tanks began in early-1960s and continued till the mid-1970s. Later modernized versions of the Soviet-era tank included the T-62M & the T-62BV. T-62 tank’s main gun – 155MM 2A20 cannon (fire rate of three to five rounds/ minute). The tank is equipped with a 7.62MM PKT coaxial machine gun & 12.7MM DShK machine gun.
