The Ukrainian military installed the state flag on the Velyky Potomkinsky Island near the Dnipro River’s delta in Kherson Oblast. The Ukrainian military intelligence head has warned that strikes inside Russia will go “deeper and deeper”, along with further attacks on Crimea. Wagner group head, Yevgeny Prigozhin has said that his troops in Bakhmut are sometimes fighting “several weeks for a single house”. Prigozhin reportedly admitted that fighting in Bakhmut was difficult as Ukrainian forces have turned “each house into a fortress”. Meanwhile, Putin has commissioned the Health Ministry to work out orders on the use of civilian hospitals for treatment of wounded soldiers.
