Canada has donated M777 howitzers to Ukraine amid a major Russian offensive in the country’s eastern part. Canadian PM, Justin Trudeau, did not offer any details when he revealed plans to ship “heavy artillery” to Ukraine on April 20. Reports say Ottawa has sent to Kyiv four howitzers out of the 37 it had purchased during the Afghan war.
