Seven people were killed in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region after Russian attacks, according to the regional governor. Kyiv claimed its guerrilla fighters have killed several high-ranking Russian officers in the southern city of Melitopol. In the past 24 hours, Ukraine has claimed to have destroyed three tanks, three artillery systems, including a multiple rocket launcher. Russia is reportedly moving its nuclear-capable Iskander missile to its border with Finland. Russia’s deputy chairman of security Dmitry Medvedev said that Moscow can remind others of its ability to give a powerful response.
