Russia’s foreign minister has dismissed the possibility of top-level talks between Putin and Zelesnky. Sergey Lavrov said any immediate meeting between the pair would be counterproductive. Lavrov’s comments came as delegations prepare for talks hosted by Turkey on Moscow’s military operation. Zelensky has repeatedly called for face-to-face talks with his Russian counterpart in a bid to end the war.
