HUGE fires rage after bombardment of Russian shells in Mykolaiv, Ukraine

UKRAINE’S state emergency services released footage on Tuesday (July 5) it said showed buildings on fire and firefighters battling flames after Russian shelling hit the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. Emergency services said the shelling hit two areas in the city on the main highway between Kherson and Odesa. In one area, 51 rescuers and 13 firefighters were involved in putting out the fires, while in a separate part of the city, 14 firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, according to the emergency services.
