Continued Asault on Soledar
Russian forces tired out Ukrainian troops overnight as they continued a missile assault on Soledar in a bid to advance in the salt-mining town. Ukraine’s deputy defence minister has now claimed that Ukraine’s forces are still holding ground in the Eastern town after a ‘hot night as the battle raged on.’ Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky even promised reinforcements for his troops in Soledar. Russia’s Wagner Group alleged to have gained control of Soledar on January 11, a claim contested by the Kyiv regime and yet to be formally announced by Russia.
