“Grey Wolf” Ukrainian Fighter Pilot Who Returned From Retirement To Fight Russia Killed In Combat

Ukrainian Air Force pilot Colonel Oleksandr Oksanchenko nicknamed “Grey Wolf” was killed in air combat against the Russians. Oksanchenko’s jet was shot down over Kyiv by Russian S-400 Triumf Air Defence Missile System on February 25. He was the Ukrainian Air Force’s display pilot of the Su-27 from 2013 to 2018. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded the pilot with the title of “Hero of Ukraine”
