Six months into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a spate of car bombings, shooting and poisoinings highlights the changing nature of the war. Several pro-Kremlin figures and Russian-installed officials in occupied territories of Ukraine have allegedly been attacked. Most notably, on August 20, Russian ultranationalist ideologue Alexander Dugin survived a car bombing on Moscow outskirts.
