As part of the Second World war Estonia saw combat in 1944 between the Soviet Red Army and German Wehrmacht. This video explains the main events – the intense fighting on the Panther line around Narva, the battle of the Tannenberg line, the Tartu offensive and finally battles on the Estonian islands during the Moonsund operation.
