What goes on at a NATO Battlegroup?

US Military #News – At the 2016 NATO Summit in Warsaw, Allies agreed to establish an enhanced Forward Presence in the eastern part of the Alliance. This was in response to Russia’s use of military force against Ukraine. Today, there are four multinational #NATO battlegroups – in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. The battlegroups operate in concert with national home defence forces. Men and women in uniform from over 20 Allies serve, train and exercise together. They represent solidarity and the strong unity of the Alliance. #military #europe
