#USArmy Special Forces soldiers trained #soldiers from the Latvian Zemessardze (national guard) 53rd Battalion in small-unit tactics on 7 June 2020. Following days of training on operating in denied environments, a platoon-sized element of Latvian soldiers patrolled to and attacked a simulated enemy position near the city of Iecava.

#SpecialForces operators often train national guard soldiers in the Baltic Republics of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, improving their skills while enhancing their ability to work with U.S. forces in crisis situations.
