This video is on the Me-262 jet fighter, and specifically it’s insane armament. This would be the MK 108 30mm cannon. We discuss how it was designed, its purpose, and the truth about it’s effectiveness against the allied heavy bombing campaign. This was the Luftwaffe’s last-ditch effort to try and turn the tide in the air war. Shoutout to HW97Karbine on Twitter who did a great deal of the research on this fascinating topic.
