The M4 Sherman is the most misunderstood tank of World War 2. This history documentary follows the Sherman from a country with almost no armored force in 1939 to the 50,000 tanks that carried the Allies into Germany. The video covers the state of American armor before the war, when the entire US Army had about 400 armored vehicles and only 18 medium tanks in service.
