Ukraine War

Russian missiles killed at least 20 people and wounded 90 others in the central Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia, as per Kyiv. The missiles ignited a fire that expanded to engulf 50 cars in an adjacent parking lot, officials said. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the Russian missile attack “an open act of terrorism”. Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba accused Russia of committing “another war crime”. UK’s Defence Ministry claims that Russia has made no significant ground advances over the past 72 hours in Donetsk. According to the UK ministry, the Russian forces risk losing the momentum built up after they captured Lysychansk. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that NATO was using Ukraine to wage a “hybrid warfare” against Russia. The US has said Russia’s war in Ukraine posed the “greatest challenge” to the global economy.
