A major escalation has unfolded in Iraq as the pro-Iran militant group Saraya Awliya al-Dam announced a series of fresh attacks targeting American military installations across the region. The group claimed it carried out seven drone operations across Iraq, including strikes aimed at US-linked assets and facilities in neighboring Kuwait. Footage released by the militants showed masked fighters preparing and launching a swarm of drones at night, with handwritten messages directed at the United States and Israel tied to the UAVs. The faction said the attacks were retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Iraqi resistance fighters during the ongoing Iran-US-Israel conflict. Earlier, the group also released video claiming a drone swarm strike on the US Victoria Base near Baghdad International Airport.
