Rep. Jim McGovern takes aim at House Republicans over a string of Trump-focused proposals, including efforts involving Mt. Rushmore, the $100 bill, a national holiday, the DC Metro and Dulles Airport. In a sharply sarcastic critique, McGovern contrasts those moves with what he calls the GOP’s failure to make America more affordable. The 81-second floor speech highlights his argument that symbolic Trump honors have taken priority over the cost-of-living concerns facing Americans.
