Iran is about to receive the first batch of its Sukhoi-35 fighter jets from Russia. The deal which was signed in 2023 will see 48 Su-35 jets in Iranian colours. According to reports, the initial batch of 20 Su-35 jets are ready for delivery while the remaining 28 will be ready for delivery by the end of the year. For decades, Iran flew American-made F-4 and F-14 jets that were in small numbers and were old.
