On the Donetsk front, some of the most brutal battles of the war are unfolding. This footage shows a rare and extremely revealing view from the Ukrainian side, where an infantry squad is pinned down and nearly wiped out after repeated Russian FPV drone attacks, artillery strikes, and gunfire.
A Dutch-made YPR-765 armored personnel carrier arrives to evacuate survivors but is immediately hit under massive fire and becomes disabled.
You can clearly hear Ukrainian soldiers screaming about shattered legs, broken arms, and heavy bleeding.
Some literally say: “I’m dead.”
The realization sets in: escape is almost impossible.
