Army truck CRASHES after driver UNDERCUTS it on dual carriageway

A driver whose careless actions resulted in the serious injury of two men on the A43 at Hulcote has been handed a six-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

Crenguta Aruxandei, of Northampton, was sentenced on Wednesday 8th April 2026 at Northampton Crown Court after pleading guilty to two counts of causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving.

Aruxandei was traveling in the outside lane on the A43 dual carriageway near Hulcote. She pulled in front of a military vehicle, which was traveling in convoy on the inside lane, causing the driver to take evasive action.

The 36-year-old driver was thrown from the Land Rover and sustained a suspected fractured back, while his 31-year-old male passenger was taken to Northampton General Hospital with a significant head injury.
