As tensions with the West remain high over Ukraine, Russia is bolstering its military capabilities in Belarus. Russia’s S-400 missile launchers will go on air defence combat alert as part of the Russia-Belarus integrated air defence system. The S-400 have been deployed as part of an inspection of the Union State’s Response Force, as per Russia’s Defence Ministry. NATO expressed concerns over Russia’s biggest military buildup around Ukraine in the last 30 years.
