These powerful strategic systems are backed up by medium-range systems like the Buk and the short-range, highly mobile Tor—creating a dense, protective bubble. However, this system has a flaw: it is static and centralized. Ukraine has successfully used specialized drones and Western missiles like ATACMS to penetrate and destroy critical S-400 components, temporarily blinding large sectors of Russian air defense.
