Well before Russia invaded Ukraine and certainly since, Russia has been an ever-present threat to the Baltic States – Estonia among them.
No surprise, then, that Estonia prepares for the worst with regular military exercises; there’s one taking place near Läsna in northeastern Estonia.
The timing is interesting. Russian fighter jets entered Estonian airspace a month ago – the fourth such incursion this year.
