Sevim Dagdelen is a German foreign-policy expert and politician who served as a member of the German Bundestag from 2005 to 2025—first for Die Linke (2005–2023) and, after co-founding the party, for the Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) (2024–2025). Dagdelen is the foreign policy spokesperson of the Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW).
A long-standing member of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee (2009–2025), she was one of its most vocal and consistent critics of NATO expansion, German arms exports, and military involvement in foreign conflicts. She also represented the Bundestag in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (2010–2023) and the Interparliamentary Conference (IPC) on the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), where she repeatedly challenged the militarization of European foreign policy and the subordination of national sovereignty to transatlantic directives.
