AMC Mobility Airmen – Base Defense Operations Exercise September 18, 2019 Unipro2013main US Air Force, US Military <h2>Base Defense Operations</h2><p> On Sep. 15, 2019, AMC mobility Airmen participate in base defense operations for Exercise Mobility Guardian 2019. Airmen forward-deployed to Yakima Training Center, WA from Fairchild AFB, WA. The 824th Base Defense Squadron provide over-watch for an austere airfield while mobility Airmen conduct sustainment operations for the airfield. Sustainment operations allow aircraft to land, off-load cargo and personnel, and take-off from a secure airfield. Credit to : Sgt.
