The Luftwaffe Paratroopers
This educational video shows the German Luftwaffe air operations Holland in 1940. Known as the “Green Devils”, Fallschirmjäger participated in the occupation of Norway and Denmark and in the missions in Belgium, the Netherlands and France in 1940. With assistance from engineering companies, these elite and highly trained units were designed to storm positions by speed and surprise, overwhelming the area before a defense can be organized to stop them.
